1955 Jozef Just, Slovak climber, who ascended Nanga Parbat North-Peak (7816 m) in 1978 (first ascent!), Lhotse and Everest in 1988. He died on descent of the latter, aged 33.

In 2000 she also finished the Carstensz- and Kosciuszko-versions of the Seven Summits. She died on this day, aged 73.
