1940 Dougal Haston, British (Scottish) climber, who participated in two major first ascents of 8000er - faces, the Annapurna I-South Face in 1970 and Everest SW Face in 1975. He died in the Alps in 1977, aged 36.
1941 Ionannis Konstantinou, Greek climber, who ascended Cho Oyu in 1991.
1946 Mary (Dolly) Lefever, American lady climber, who ascended Everest in 1993. She also finished the Kosciuszko-version of the Seven Summits in 1994 and the Carstensz-version in 1995.
1948 Jay Cassell, American climber, who ascended Everest in 1983.
1950 Sergei Penzov, Russian climber, who ascended Everest in 1992 and K2 in 1996.
1955 Ronald Naar, Dutch climber, who ascended Nanga Parbat in 1981 (disputed!), Broad Peak Foresummit in 1983, Everest in 1992 (where he finished the Carstensz-version of the Seven Summits) and K2 in 1995. He also travelled to the South Pole in the season 1998/1999. He died in 2011 on Cho Oyu, aged 56.
