2025 Tables Compilation Summary

In 2025, there were again several finishers of the 14 eight-thousanders. The total in the New Era table now stands at 39, 15 of them female. Eight climbers completed the challenge this year, four of them women. The total number of corrections on different mountains after former wrong summits now stands at 42.

He Jing from China reclimbed Manaslu and has therefore completed the 14 true 8,000m summits, all without supplemental oxygen.

In addition, the then 86-year-old climber Carlos Soria corrected his false Manaslu summit after 15 years; he now needs only two more mountains (Dhaulagiri I and Shisha Pangma) to finish the 14 true 8,000m summits.

A surprising addition has been made to the New Era table. After research conducted with Denis Urubko, it has finally been confirmed that Denis Urubko also climbed the 14 true summits during the Legacy Era. He is now listed in both tables.

The New Era table, the Women 3+ table, the updated Transition table, and the Manaslu Main-correctors table are now published. All other main tables (for example: Nation table total, Nation table female, First 2, First 3, and First 5, plus all of them without supplemental oxygen, and more) are available upon request.
